Reference Designs

The PD3 Tecnologia offers Reference Designs of own conception to companies whom intend to make the commercial exploration of them. These Reference Designs offered by the PD3 contain the necessary documentation for the fast manufacture and commercialization. Each Reference Design contains:

- one complete and functional prototype
- electronic project
- Print Circuit Board project (PCB)
- Mechanical parts project
- Bill of materials (BOM)
- Manual of operation and installation
- Software files (source code or binary code, depending on the contract)
- Training in accordance with the degree of contracted technological view

The Reference Designs currently available are:

1 - Router V.35

The AccessRouter is equipment for interconnection of computers through links of data by twisted pair, fiber optic or radio and that need of V.35 serial interface. - WAN Serial Interface up to 5 Mbit/s - Support to the main standards protocols (Frame Relay, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc).
- Auto-sensing 10/100M Ethernet interface
- Auto M-DIX
- It supports V.28 and V.35
- Supports upgrade for OSPF, VPN and Firewall
- IP/IPX routing and bridging mode
- NAT for single-IP-address
- DHCP Sever and DHCP Relay
- RIP I/RIP II Supports.
- TFTP/FTP Server for firmware upgrade

2 - VPN Firewall

The VPN Router is an Internet Security Appliance for the interconnection of computer networks through the Internet using security forms and high technology cryptography of data. - Support to the main standards security protocols (Ipsec, 3DES, etc).
- Auto-sensing 10/100M in the 3 Ethernet interfaces
- Auto M-DIX
- Support for Firewall upgrade
- TFTP/FTP server for firmware upgrades

3 - Multiplexer E1 Cross-Connect

The MA-10 is a TDM Flexible Multiplexer with small dimension 1UR x 19"
- Drop-Insert functions in the time-slots of the V.35/V.36
- Cross connect in level of DS0 (64k) - Internal Matrix (16 x 16 E1s)
- E1s Cascade (Daisy Chain)

4 - Media Converter

I - Fiber-Ethernet

Equipment used for the optical-fiber conversion in Twisted Pair -> Cat-5
- Compatible with 100Base-TX and 100Base-FX.
- It extends networks until 2Km in Multi mode fiber (MM)
- It extends networks in until 70km in Single mode fiber (SM)
- Auto negotiation between 10 and 100Base-TX port
- Auto MDI-X for 10/100Base-TX port
- Auto half/full-duplex operation
- Interoperability with 100BaseTX/FX NICs, hubs, switches
- LEDs for easy networks´ monitoring
- Optional connectors ST or SC

II - Fiber-Fiber

Equipment used for the optical-fiber conversion between Single mode (SM) and Optic Fiber Multimode (MM), or still to only extend you optical enlace.
